Holi celebrations , Saree workshop and International Dance Day celebrations organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, Bali (April 4- 30 , 2021)

1. An event of Holi celebration was held at Lebih Resort in association with Balinese & Indian Friendship Association (BIFA), Bali and Yogmantra Bali on 04 April which was participated by around 70-80 Indians, PIOs and Balinese nationals. 2. A Saree workshop was held at SVCC, Bali on 09 April on the occasion of ICCR Foundation Day which was participated by 25 Indian, PIO and Balinese women. The workshop was about "How to drape", "How to pin up" and "How to maintain the draped Saree". 3. International Dance Day was celebrated on 29 & 30 April 2021 on social media platforms by uploading videos of different dance forms on its YouTube channel “ICCR in Bali”. This event was about promoting and exchanging culture & information about different dance forms of India as well as other countries.

Events on Export Promotion, Education Promotion and Movie screening organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Jakarta (April 9- 26 , 2021)

(i) 09 April 2021 - as part of India@75 activities, a virtual Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) was organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), India and Embassy in the engineering sector with specific focus on pumps and valves, in cooperation with Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Kadin); (ii) 14 April 2021 - On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Embassy organized the screening of movie "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar"; (iii) 26 April 2021 - Embassy organized a Talk-Show on Educational Courses and Scholarship Program offered by India with a view to promote them among Indonesians. Ambassador had interacted with a moderator in an hour long live program that was broadcast on Insta-Live platform of the Embassy.

Events on Launch of Sanskrit app "Little Guru", Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations , Start-up Promotion and Movie Screening organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, Medan (April 2021)

i) India@75 Consul General launched Sanskrit app "Little Guru" on 14 April in presence of faculty of Nalanda Univ & Archeological depts of Palembang & Jambi. Discussed promotion of Sanskrit as part of future joint academic research projects. ii) India@75 On the occasion of birth anniversary of #AmbedkarJayanti, Consulate organized the screening of biopic on Dr B.R, Ambedkar on 13 April. iii) Consul General addressed faculty members of Sari Mutiara Indonesia University on role of Indian Startups in establishment of business incubators in Indonesia. An MoU on academic cooperation was signed with the university.

IDY Celebration events organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Jakarta (June , 2021)

1. Videos on Yoga practice in collaborating with the reputed local yoga institutes, PPNY, Art of Living and Yoga Fit were publicized weekly on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter accounts of the Mission as a lead up to the 7th IDY. 2. Yoga Quiz was conducted to raise awareness and for the participation in the 7th IDY which was held in the Mission on 20 June 2021 3. Curtain Raiser event of the 7th IDY along with an interview of Ambassador with Liputan6, online news portal of Indonesia. 4. 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrated in the Mission’s auditorium in hybrid mode (with restricted in-person attendance and live webcast) due to Covid-19 restricted health protocols. The event was live-streamed on Facebook, Youtube & Zoom and joined virtually by over 2000 participants from 100 locations across Indonesia. Common Yoga Protocol booklet, in Bahasa translation, was released and distributed among the attendees. 5. In a live ‘Liputan6 Update’ program, Ambassador gave an interview on the significance of the International Day of Yoga.

World Environment Day, International Day of Yoga and World Music Day celebrations were organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, Bali (June 04-26, 2021)

1. World Environment Day was celebrated virtually at SVCC, Bali under India@75 ; 2. Consulate General of India and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Bali organized 7th International Day of Yoga in collaboration with Indonesia Tourism Development Cooperation (ITDC) and Yogmantra Bali at Nusa Dharma Island, Bali, Indonesia; 3. World Music Day was organised virtually by SVCC, Bali under India@75

India hands over 10 ISO Cryogenic Tanks for transportation of LMO to Indonesia

Ambassador of India to Indonesia, H E Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti handed over 10 ISO Cryogenic Tanks having capacity of 20 MT each for transportation of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to Indonesia. It arrived from India on 24th August, 2021. This shipment has arrived as a part of humanitarian assistance to help Indonesia in its fight against the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. These 10 tanks have been provided on lease gratis basis by the Government of India and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). Representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment, and Indonesian Military and Navy were present during the ceremony.

Celebration of 75th Independence Day of India in Jakarta

The Embassy of India, Jakarta celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15th August, 2021 with enthusiasm, zeal and patriotic fervor. The celebration was held at the India House as a part of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" and to mark "India at 75" festivities. It began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Ambassador of India to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Manoj K. Bharti, followed by singing of the National Anthem. The Ambassador read out the Hon’ble President’s address delivered on the eve of Independence. A brief cultural programme was organized which included rendition of patriotic songs and classical dance performance by talents from the Indian diaspora and the Embassy families. A quiz competition was organized as a run-up to the Independence Day, and its winners were honoured at the event.

Maitree diwas celebration on 06.12.2021

The Embassy of India and Embassy of Bangladesh in Jakarta jointly celebrated Maitree Diwas (friendship day) at the Hotel Le Meridien, Jakarta on 6th December, 2021. The programme commenced with lamp lighting ceremony by Ambassador of India to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Indonesia, H.E. Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman. A special documentary prepared by the Government of Bangladesh was screened depicting the struggle of Bangladesh and India’s assistance against oppressive forces. It highlighted the contribution of Father of the Nation of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the nation building. The event ended with cultural performances and dinner assorted with Indian and Bangladeshi cuisines.
