Outreach Activity and Sports Events organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Addis Ababa (April 2021)
i) Mission organized "Sports Day" in its premises under India@75 on 09 April, 2021 which was attended by over 100 participants by playing games of Badminton and Squash. ii) Minister of Labour & Social Affairs and Ambassador jointly visited Hossana (18 April) to explore the possibilities of Indian investment in agriculture sector. During the visit, as a part of outreach activity under "India@75" Mission donated computers to two schools in Hossana. Ambassador also visited Wachemo University and interacted with the president and Indian professors and lecturers at the University.
IDY celebrations organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Addis Ababa (June 2021)
1.As part of India@75 celebrations and 7th International Day of Yoga celebrations, Embassy of India, Addis Ababa organised 100 events( 26 Universities, 43 factories, 2 schools as also community events) across the country during the month of June, 2021.
