Social media campaign and Essay Competition organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Asmara (May 2021)

(1) India@75 Lecture Series-IV Eminent Scholar Raveendra Nath from Hamelmalo Agriculture College, Keren made an enlightening presentation on Yoga for Eritrean and Indian audience at the Embassy on May 7, 2021. (2) Social media campaign on Indian musical instrument was undertaken on May 14. (3) Another social media campaign on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was carried out on May 20. (4) Social media campaign on 249th Birth anniversary of Raja Ram Mohan Roy was done on May 22. (5) An India@75 Essay Competition was announced in the month of May 2021. The Mission has received entries before the last date of 31.5.2021. All winners of such competitions will be given prizes at our Independence Day ceremony on August 15

Lecture Series and Launch of 'Little Guru' App organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Asmara (April 2021)

i) India@75 Lecture Series-I First lecture was given by Mr. Manoj Sebastian, an eminent teacher on 'Ancient Trade route that linked Indian and Eritrean Coastlines' on April 10. ii) On the same day the Mission unveiled 'Little Guru' App, world's first gamified Sanskrit learning App. It was jointly launched by Ambassador Subhash Chand and renowned contemporary Eritrean author and playwright Mr. Mesgun Zerai in an event held at the Embassy. iii) India@75 lecture series-II On April 16, Dr. Samuel Kiflay, eminent doctor from prestigious Orotta College of Medicine &Health Sciences made a presentation on 'Hypertension' at the Embassy for a curious Indian and Eritrean audience. iv) India@75 Lecture Series-III On April 24 Dr. Atul Kaushik & Team of Orotta College of Medicine & Health Sciences made an interesting and informative lecture on Epilepsy. Dr. Yemane Seyoum, Dean of Orotta College of Medicine & Health Sciences was also present on the occasion.
