Virtual Events on Indian History, Culture, Health and Wellness events organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Copenhagen (April 2021)

i) Embassy of India, Copenhagen organised online interactions on 13, 14, 15, and 16 April with 7 classes from Gladsaxe Gymnasium to commemorate 75 years of India's Independence. Nearly 250 enthusiastic High-School students attended online classes on India’s culture and freedom struggle. This was followed by Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation sessions which serve as Curtain Raiser events ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2021. These sessions were held in collaboration with local Indian Yoga organisations Astanga Yoga, AdiYogi, Amrita Yoga Amritapuri, Brahma Kumaris, and The Art of Living. A special guest from the Art of Living, Swamiji Jyothirmaya held a Meditation session on 16 April 2021. ii) On 23 April 2021, Embassy of India, Copenhagen organised a virtual interaction with over 30 enthusiastic High-School students from Rungsted Gymnasium. They joined the Embassy online in commemorating 75 years of India's Independence. After the Embassy's presentation on India’s culture & freedom struggle, an energizing Hatha Yoga session followed. The Yoga session was organised in collaboration with ISHA Foundation as a part of the Curtain Raiser events ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2021. Finally, 30 High School students from Rungsted Gymnasium visited the premises of Embassy of India, Copenhagen on 27 April 2021. They enthusiastically participated in an interactive session with Ambassador Pooja Kapur in the Embassy garden. A lecture on India's independence in connection to India @75 celebrations followed. The event was rounded off with a dynamic Yoga session, ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2021.

Online Dance Workshops organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Copenhagen ( May 2021)

Each week in May 2021, a video was released by EoI, Copenhagen in collaboration with a local Bharatnatyam artist, which culminated with an online dance workshop at the beginning of June. Thematically, the dances would be inspired by India @ 75 and patriotic songs may be used for performances. Since India’s Independence movement, Bharatnatyam has been revived and reaffirmed as an art form, which was emphasized
