Cultural, Business Events and Holi celebrations organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Havana (March 2021)
i) In this regard, tweets, retweets using infographics were posted. The #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav and #AmritMahotsav were used in all the posts on the social media handles of the Mission. ii) Holi was celebrated by the Mission to mark the rich culture of Festivals in India. iii) Ambassador inaugurated a specially curated session of INDIA-LAC IT Connect for IT firms based in India over an online B2B session for IT companies in DR and Cuba. She explained the potential of India’s service sector powerhouse-the Indian IT sector along with a brief history of Indian IT sector.
Social Media Campaign on Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations organised by EoI, Havana (April 2021)
Mission kick-started its India@75 celebration on 12 April with Ambassador’s interview at Radio Habana where she apprised about the Amrit Mahotsava and upcoming events. Mission released a teaser followed by a full music video of a Cuban artist performing on Vande Mataram, which is being very well received on our social media. On 24 April, Doctor Johann from the La Pradera Heath Centre gave a radio talk show on Ayurveda and its potential. Ambassador visited the CIM(Centre of Molecular Immunology) as part of ongoing collaboration between India and Cuba in molecular biology sector. Embassy is engaged in activity on social media posts using #AmritMahotsav hashtag.
Radio talk shows and Birth anniversary celebrations of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Havana ( May 2021)
On 5 May, Mission organized a radio talk show on Radio Ciudad Habana, “Buenos Noches Ciudad” where Professor Maria Teresa from the Havana University shared her impressions of India and some of her Indian memories. Another Radio show was organized with Professor Teresa and her colleague from Havana University on Radio CMBF on 22 May for a different audience. On May 7, on the 160th Birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Cuban State Media Granma and others published articles on the work, life and messages of Rabindranath Tagore. Apart from these, mission continues to use social media posts on multiple platforms with #AmritMahotsav regularly and interacts with Official page of Bharat ka Amrit Mahotsav on Twitter.
