Cultural Events, Media Interaction and Publicity events organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Bogota (April 2021)
(i) Ambassador gave an interview to the press on 9.4.2021 regarding Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and events being organised to commemorate 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. ii) A local dance group “Anjali, danzas de India” gave a cultural dance performance which was recorded and uploaded on Mission’s social media pages. iii) An article titled “India – La Farmacia Del Mundo” was written by Mr. Juan Alfredo Pinto Saavedra, former Ambassador of Colombia to India, based on the interview of Ambassador, and the article was published in EL Tiempo, one of the leading local news dailies, on 21.4.2021. iv) A short video recording was made with Ambassador’s statement regarding India@75 which was used for broadcast on radio and also uploaded on social media. v) Ambassador also did a radio interview with University of Javeriana , Bogota which was broadcast on 17.4.2021 on 91.9 FM channel. The interview of Ambassador was published in Primicia Diario on 12.4.2021.
Various Yoga promotional events ,International Day of Yoga celebrations, Educational information propogation like ITEC courses were organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Bogota (June 01-21, 2021)
1. The commemorative events in preparation of International Day of Yoga 2021 started on 1 June and lasted till 18 June 2021, with yoga/meditation practices, and lecture/conferences on Yoga and related topics as follows, through virtual mode on Embassy Facebook page due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation; 2. Natyam Yoga Practise (Yoga Dance) with Radharani Giraldo from Vrajalila Natyam Arts; 3. Conference – Practical tips of Ayurveda by Cintamani Musello, Radha Krishna Vatika Ashram and Meditation practise with Soraya Mahecha from Yoga ed sintesis Bogota; 4. Virtual Conference “ Yoga in Education” by Parsival Castro and Hatha Yoga’s virtual class with Lisa Riccardi from Asana Yoga Academy; 5. Virtual Tibetan Yoga Conference by Cristina Ponce and Pause and Consciousness Yoga class by Heydi Mino from Nuna Yoga Ec Academy; 6. Conference – “The Importance of Ayurveda in Humane Society” by Harold Sotomayor of Ayurveda House and Yoga flow with Soeanny Girl from Academy Akasha Yoga; 7. Conference - “Building Peace through Yoga” with Lia Cristina Upegui Lopez from Fundacion Hariharananda Kriya Yoga-Day; 8. Guided meditation with vibrational sounds with Daniel Garcia Chiriboga from Lacuna Academy, Lecture on “Different types of Pranayamas” by Diana Fernandes de Cordoba of Happy Yoga Studio Academy and Yoga Nidra practise with Blanca Gonzales Kusum Sarovar; 9. Great Universal Fraternity Yoga and Human Development Conference with Dr Serge Raynaud of Ferriere GFU Bogota and Meditation with Elizabeth Silva from Heartfullness Colombia; 10. Yogaangel’s Rangel lecture “Fear and Death, How to face them from Yoga” and Yoga class by Silvia Bernarda; 11. Yoga with Vanessa Jater about Self-Knowledge and Regulation through Chakras and Yoga for Women by Lila Govardhan of Fullness Camp International Academy; 12. Conference - “Mahamrityunjaya Project” by Juan Carlos Montero of Divine Values School – Shiva Kriya Yoga-Day and Yoga with Simha Rambay; 13. Self-Care Conference in Consciousness by Andrea Contrerar Leon of Shanti Om Community Yoga Academy and Pranayama practise by Gustavo Plaza from Yoga Rahasya School & Method academy; 14. Conference – Meditation and Wellbeing Integral by Brahmakumaris Association and Practise Yoga for Health – Ashtanga Yoga by Yoganjah; 15. Conference – A way to overcome physical and mental isolation and anxiety by Amha Colombia Foundation and Yoga with Aglae; 16. The main IDY event was held in collaboration with Art of Living and Divine Value School through virtual mode. 17. Mission had interactive session with National Learning Services of Colombia, SENA ( Servicio National de Aprendizaje) and provided them detailed information about the ITEC courses of the Ministry.
