Commemoration of 130th Birthday anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Abidjan (April 14, 2021)
During the month of April, Mission launched the celebration of India@75 during the commemoration of 130th Birthday anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Chancery premises on 14 April 2021. The event was also telecast on social media platforms. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, the attendance at the event was limited to about 50 people which included prominent Indian community as well as Ivorians and Embassy’s officials. Embassy also organized a meeting of community leaders as to how Embassy and community can work together for celebration of India@75 as and when the situation permits to organize public events.
