Photo Exhibition and Talk on Rabindranath Tagore organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Belgrade ( May 2021)
(i) Photo exhibition of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at Chancery premises from 1-31 May, 2021 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Tagore on 7 May, 2021. (ii) Talk on Tagore’s visit to Belgrade in 1926 – Mission in association with University of Belgrade organised a Talk on Tagore on 18 May, 2021. The main speaker Prof. Aleksandar Petrović, Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade talked in detail about the visit and its relevance in today‘s Serbia. Ambassador, in his initial remark, spoke on the life and ideals of Tagore and the relevance of Tagore‘s visit to Belgrade in today‘s India-Serbia relations. A number of students from University of Belgrade attended the Talk. (iii) Serbian magazine Sensa, in their May 2021 issue, published an article on Jaggery in Serbian language. International Day of Yoga at Historical Kalemegdan Fort - Yoga practice by yoga instructor from Vidya Yoga, Belgrade; 4. Online conference on Yoga & Ayurveda in association with Serbian Association for Ayurveda.
