Holi and Martyrs' Day celebrations during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations organised by CGI, New York (March 2021)

(1) 'March 15 2021: Holi celebrations featuring virtual 'Puppet show - Colors of Krishna's Love' in collaboration with New York Public Library and The Culture Tree. (2) Martyrs' Day celebartion with GOPIO.

130th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar commemoration , Cultural Event and Promotion of Trade and Technology event organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, San Francisco (April 4-15, 2021)

1. 'Sirikona Kavitha Vasantotsavam' held virtually from US (4th April,2021). 2. Consul General had a productive virtual meeting with Guam Chamber of Commerce exploring opportunities for co-operation in trade and commerce particularly for Indian pharma and construction industry. 3. Observed 130th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar (14 April, 2021). 4. Consulate formally flagged off the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav/India @ 75 celebrations with a panel discussion on India's Technological Evolution (15 April, 2021).

Community Interaction and various Amrit Mahotsav Celebration events organised by CGI, Chicago( May 2021)

1. 04 May - Virtual Town Hall with members of four organizations comprising senior members of Indian American organizations. Consul General briefed them on diaspora centric services and India@75. 2. 15 May - Consul General called on Governor of Indiana and separately met Commerce Secretary, Director of Agriculture, Industry Representative, etc. He separately met members of Indiana community. 3. 20 May - Magic House, a children Museum in Missouri, organised an event “Namaste India” with support from the Consulate and community organizations in Missouri. It opened on 20 May and is aimed at elementary school children. It focuses on both traditional and contemporary aspects of India. 4. 20 May - Consul General held meetings with (i)Chancellor, University of Missouri; (ii) President Webster University; and (iii) Associate Vice Chancellor of Washington University, St. Louis to explore deeper university-to-university linkages.

International Day of Yoga 2021 Celebrations and Mahavir Jayanti Celebrations organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, New York (June, 2021)

1. Opening ceremony of the 28th Annual World Yoga Festival and 7th International Day of Yoga celebrations by World Yoga Community; 2. ISKCON 45th Annual Jagannath Ratha Yatra Parade and Festival of India organized in New York City; Virtual International Day of Yoga celebrations by 3. GOPIO – Manhattan NY Chapter; International Day of Yoga at Richard Presser Park (Webb Field), organized by Indian Cultural Association of North America, Westchester; 4. International Day of Yoga 2021 at Liberty State Park, 200 Morris Pesin Drive, Jersey City, New Jersey; 5.Council of Indian Organizations in Greater Philadelphia’s International Day of Yoga 2021 at Dilworth Plaza, 1 S 15th St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 6. Celebrating Health and Wellness for Symposium on ‘Modern Scientific and Indic Perspective of Intermittent Fasting in collaboration with BoCE, Boston, Massachusetts; 7.Celebrations of Mahavir Jayanti at CGI, NY

IDY 2021 Celebrations and Trade Promotion activities organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, Houston (June 08-21, 2021)

1. Consulate organized several events in partnership with various community, social institutions and yoga institutes across southern United States. These included the yoga sessions and Common Yoga Protocol at Buffalo Bayou Park Houston, India House, Riverwalk, San Antonio, Austin, Bentonville-Arkansas, The Woodlands, Katy, SVYASA Houston and Kansas; Yoga for Seniors at Gujarati Samaj Houston; 2. Yoga for Healthy Life by Indian American Cancer Network Houston; lectures by renowned speakers including webinar on “Relevance of Yoga & Ayurveda in Everyday Life” by Dr. David Frawley and webinar on “Yoga and Science” byDr. Subhash Kak; and meditation sessions by Sahaj Yoga, Brahmakumaris Dallas and JKYog Texas. 3. Interaction with the Startup India team and representatives of Chambers- Indo Americans Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston and US India Chamber of Commerce Dallas Fort Worth. Prepared a roadmap for deepening India- US partnership in the areas of startups, innovation, digital technologies and other emerging areas.
