Cultural Events , Launch of "Little Guru" Sanskrit Learning App and Children Art Competition organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Brussels (April 2021)

International Day of Yoga celebrations organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Brussels (June 17-23, 2021)

1. Embassy of India, Brussels Celebrating India@75 & International Day of Yoga 2021. Embassy organized a webinar on the topic “Introduction to the Philosophy of Yoga”. The webinar was conducted by Ms. Shantala Sriramaiah, an expert in vedic chanting and philosophy; 2. Embassy of India, Brussels Celebrating India@75 & International Day of Yoga 2021. The Embassy in collaboration with Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur organized a workshop on “Yoga at Work” for office going people; 3. Embassy of India, Brussels & Indian Confluence Celebrated International Day of Yoga. Yoga session for children (Age 7+) & Food for Wellbeing. Participants learnt simple diet secrets to a healthy life. A one-hour yoga demonstration session was also organized by the Embassy in collaboration with the Antwerp India Association, the local diaspora association, and the Jain Cultural Center Antwerp in the premises of the magnificent Jain Cultural Center at Antwerp. The session was conducted by Ms. Reetu Mehta, an experienced yoga instructor; 4. The marquee event celebrating IDY in Belgium was a one-hour yoga session organized by local yoga organizations “Brussels Yoga Day” in the scenic environs of the renowned Pairi Daiza Zoo also known as Garden of Europe. The session was conducted by popular French yoga instructor Sreemati and included participation from Sandrine Dans, famous Belgian television presenter, along with Ambassador of India. The yoga session was telecast live across Belgium on the popular RTL Play. 5. Art India and Sun Yoga Brussels (SYB) celebrates Yoga Day in association with India in Belgium (Embassy of India, Brussels) with a melange of Music and Yoga at the most iconic monuments in Brussels Parc du Cinquantenaire; 6. A live yoga session at iconic Atomium in Brussels was organized by the Embassy in collaboration with India Confluence. The session was conducted by yoga instructor Ms. Reetu Mehta; 7.In association with the Indian Association of Luxembourg on the occasion of IDY, the event was organized at Neimenster and joined by Ms. Martine Reicherts & Mr. Sri Kolla. Ambassador’s message on Yoga was aired live on social media. 8. Yoga for well-being by ‘Isha Foundation’ in association with Indian Embassy Brussels was shared on social media platforms. 9. Mission launched a special social media campaign for promotion of IDY since March 2021.
