Online Events and Rabindranath Tagore Birth Anniversary organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Moscow ( May 2021)

Two Online Events conducted this month as follows 1. "May of Positivity" - a series of meditative music, mantras and chanting «A positive attitude can recreate your reality» for encouraging people and making them happier through positive vibrations a - musical mantras by JNCC vocal teacher Shri Arun Dubey b - a musical composition by a renowned Indian sitar player Fateh Ali Khan c - a song “Spring” by the eminent Russian singer Zhanna Bichevskaya d - a message from the Representative of Dalai-Lama in Russia and CIS and the prayer service 2. 160th Birth Anniversary of Tagore - a musical tribute to Tagore. Participants are as follows a. JNCC vocal teacher Shri Arun Dubey b - videos of recitation of Tagore's poems by Debashish Sengupta, Cultural Secretary of the Moscow Durga Puja Committee; c- a representative of the Russian State Library - Dr. Smita Sengupta, Head of the cataloguing sector, Oriental Center; d - Dr. Sudeshna Aurangabadkar, a teacher at the Slavic-Anglo-American School ‘Marina’; e - JNCC Dance Teacher Shipra Joshi; f - the students of MGIMO-University Sofia Kutepova and Maria Korbovskaya; the students of the Secondary school №653 named after Rabindranath Tagore from Saint-Petersburg Anna Nikolenko, Tatyana Chernova and Maria Okhotnikova; g - Dr. Mitali Sarkar, Librarian of the Embassy of India in Moscow h - a post on Tagore's connection to Russia “Leela Prem” event was organized on 29th May. Ms. Shipra Joshi, JNCC Kathak Teacher, and Shri Arun Dubey, JNCC Vocal Music Teacher, performed at the Leela Prem’s concert programme at the Yolochki Park,

Online quizzes and Rabindranath Tagore Birth Anniversary organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI, St. Petersburg ( May 2021)

(i) As part of Amrit Mahotsav Celebration, An Online quiz focused on Indian Freedom fighter was organised during 05 May 2021 to 15 May, 2021. (ii) On 14th May, 2021, 160th birth anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore was organised by the Consulate in coordination with House of Friendship wherein friends of India participated enthusiastically. (iii) On 18th May, 2021, A Lecture on Internal feminism in the art of Mohiniyattam was organized by the Consulate General of India in coordination with Natya Academy of Art. (iv) An Online Quiz on Indian States was organised from 18th May till 23rd May. (v) From 21st May to 22nd May, as part of Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations, a 2-days Seminar on Hindi Language was organized by the Consulate. IDY celebrations & Ayurveda promotion event and Online quiz organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by CGI St. Petersburg (June 2021)

1. Along with IDY 2021 celebrations, An Online quiz focused on Yoga was organised during 08 June 2021 to 24th June, 2021. 2. An Online quiz focused on Indian Freedom fighter was organised during this period. 3. As part of India@75, the Consulate General of India celebrated International Day of Yoga 2021 in hybrid mode. The event was webcasted live on the Consulate’s instagram handle (IGTV). 4. On 20.06.2021, the Consulate in coordination with Northern State Medical University, Arkhangelsk; Namaste Yoga school, Murmansk and Madavi Yoga school, Pskov celebrated IDY as part of Amrit Mohotsav. Students and yoga lovers participated enthusiastically. 5. A seminar on Ayurveda was organized in coordination with INRUCS. Friends of India participated enthusiastically.

1. Events were shared on social media and the popularity has increased over the year. In 2020 and 2021 the events are being shared on social media. Keeping the COVID-19 restrictions in mind the events were held in online format.
