Events on Indian History, Art & Culture organised during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations byEoI, Astana (April , 2021
1. ICCR Foundation Day on 9 April 2021 As a part of celebrating 75 years of India’s independence- India@75. An online concert, including Hindi songs, Kathak Solo dance, Folk Dances, Kathak Tarana performed by the students of SVCC was organized on virtual platform of the Mission on the occasion of Foundation Day of ICCR by Embassy’s cultural wing Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre. 2) Celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti and Vaisakhi on 14 April 2021 AND Bihu on 15 April 2021 while celebrating 75 years of India’s independence On the occasion of Celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti and Vaisakhi, Embassy’s cultural wing Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre conducted an Online event, which included introduction by students of Indology Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University & Bhangra Dance by SVCC performing unit, choreographed by SVCC Dance Teacher. 3) SVCC presented ‘Drop of Dance on 22 April 2021 As a part of India@75 celebrations, Embassy’s cultural wing Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre presented “Drop of Dance” an Online cultural performance by the teachers and students of SVCC. Melody of Ghungroo and Rhythm performed by SVCC Dance Teacher and Music Teacher. 4) "International Dance Day" Celebrations on 29 April 2021 Celebrating 75 years of India’s independence- India@75. On the occasion of ‘International Dance Day’, Embassy’s cultural wing Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre presented online event, included folk dances of Rajasthan and Kashmir performed by the students of SVCC on this occasion of International Dance Day, choreographed by SVCC Dance Teacher.
