Video blogging competition and social media campaign on Indian History during Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations by EoI, Amman (March 2021)
i) Launch of a video blogging competition for Indian Diaspora and Friends of India in Jordan on the theme India@75. ii) Mission has also launched a social media campaign highlighting heroes of India's freedom struggle, India's achievements in the field of Vaccine development, 'Vaccine Maitri' etc.
Amrit Mahotsav Celebrations organised by EoI, Amman (April 2021)
Embassy of India in Amman, in association with Isra University, Jordan organised an event as part of#AzadiKaAmritMahotsav(#India@75) celebrations in Jordan. Ambassador H.E. Anwar Haleem was invited by President of Isra University Prof. Ahmed Nuseirat to deliver a lecture on the theme “70 years of India-Jordan Relations”. The online lecture which was attended by more than 130 faculty members, academicians and students from Isra University, commenced with the special video message from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi sent on the occasion of Jordan’s centenary. Ambassador, in his lecture, highlighted the historic, close and friendly relations between India and Jordan which is scaling new heights under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi and His Majesty King Abdullah-II. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Nuseirat conveyed his congratulations to Govt and people of India on 75 years of India's independence. Dr. Ghaida Abu Rumman, Director International Affairs of Isra University also spoke on the occasion. Isra University is one of the most prominent Universities of Jordan and has established institutional linkages with Academic institutions in India including the University of Jamia Milia Islamia.
