THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

(a) to (b) The U.S. Government has announced that its troops, as well as the forces deployed by NATO member states will leave Afghanistan before September 11, 2021.

The security situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated in the recent past. Government is in touch with the Government of Afghanistan and with various stakeholders within and outside Afghanistan, including regional and international partners on the evolving security situation in Afghanistan.
