In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, some countries have imposed various restrictions on entry/exit of foreigners including Indian nationals. In addition, some countries are not issuing visas or issuing visas only for select categories. In some cases, even
holders of valid visas are not allowed to enter the country while in others, only select categories of visa holders are being allowed entry. Requirements of quarantine also differ from country to country.
Indian nationals intending to travel abroad are, therefore, advised to keep in mind restrictions put in place by the country of travel. It is also important to note that suitable category of visas should be applied for in line with the purpose of travel. Activities
and duration of stay in the country of travel must also be in conformity with the visa category and duration of the visa.
